Escape Artist.

Cardinels have been interested in creating music together for a while.

Drummer Cameron Jones said that guitarist and backing vocalist Sean Zolnierczak and himself already had musical history together.

“Sean and I have been in bands together since we were 12 years old and picking it back up after – what, five years without writing together? - It was definitely going to be interesting,”

Jones said.

After playing altogether in a band for sometime, these musicians decided that they wanted to keep stimulated and create some original content

“…and here we are now with a bunch of songs and a band full of super talented musos who are also our best friends,” Jones said.

The band are in the early stages of recording their first album and have free demos available on Bandcamp, which have received some great responses so far.

Cardinels will play on June 10, at Club 54 and will be supporting The Bennies on June 22.
