The actress famously starred as Catwoman in the 1992 superhero blockbuster Batman Returns and she plays a mob wife in new action mafia movie The Family with Robert De Niro - but she admits
her dream is to be the star of her very own high-octane film.
She tells MovieFone.com, "I can't believe I'm saying this but I'd like to do an action movie. Yeah (I have done some action), but, I want to be like the Kiefer Sutherland character in 24.
Jack Bauer? I want to be like him! I want to kick butt."
Pfeiffer insists she would even consider a move to the small screen if it meant she could get her hands on an action-packed script.
She adds, "There's really great work being done on TV right now. That's where a lot of the really good work is being done. Actors just want to do good work. It doesn't matter where it is."
