potentially looking to recast Morpheus. Laurence Fishburne’s character “may be recast for a younger take,” it was reported, meaning a young Morpheus certainly suggested a young Trinity and

Neo as well. However, as Morpheus and Niobe were the only Nebuchadnezzar crew members who survived to see the new Zion, it makes sense that to see Trinity and Neo return would mean we are

seeing them in an earlier point in the timeline. Otherwise, the only other option is time travel, which certainly does not seem out of the realms of possibility for The Matrix. The Oracle
