Around the time of production on Furious 7, Brian O’Conner star Paul Walker was tragically killed in a car crash on a day off from filming. The shoot was then obviously delayed as rewrites
were made and Walker’s brothers Cody and Caleb stepped in to complete Brian’s scenes thanks to CGI. And while Walker’s character drove off to be with his family at the end of Furious 7, it
looks like Vin Diesel and Cody may be working to bring the character back in Fast and Furious 9. What appears to be a tease of this was spotted on Diesel’s Instagram.
Diesel posted a snap of himself and Cody Walker from behind on what appears to be the Fast and Furious 9 set.
The 52-year-old Dom star wrote: “There is something special that happens every time Cody comes to visit production....
“Always making Pablo proud! All love, always. #Fast92020 #Fatherhood#FastFamily”
What else could be more special that Cody is involved with on a Fast and Furious set than recreating his brother’s character, Brian?

Earlier this month, Cody opened up on the possibility of Brian returning in a future Fast and Furious movie.
Speaking with Metro ahead of FuelFest UK, Cody said: “You know there’s a lot of things that are said about the franchise, there’s a lot of rumours going around.
“I think anything is possible and we’ll see what the future has in store.

Cody added: “There’s a rumour that the franchise might go to outer space next, so you never know… nothing is off the table, never say never.”
Considering Fast and Furious 10 will be the last movie in the main franchise, perhaps Brian will cameo in the ninth film before making an epic return in the last movie?
Fast and Furious 9 is set for release on May 22, 2020, while the tenth film will arrive a year later.
