Overwatch fans are about to be treated to a brand new map on PS4, Xbox One and PC. The Horizon Lunar Colony map has a June 20 release date, and is expected to launch alongside a huge new

patch. In terms of a release time, Blizzard updates tend to go live at around 6pm UK time. "Get ready to journey to Horizon Lunar Colony—our new Assault map coming soon to PC,

PlayStation 4, and Xbox One!" Blizzard tweeted. Horizon Lunar Colony is a new Assault map set in space. “Built as a first step towards humanity's renewed exploration of space, the

Horizon Lunar Colony’s goal was to examine the effects of prolonged extraterrestrial habitation—on human and ape alike.  “The scientists’ research proved incredibly promising...until,

suddenly, all contact and communications with the base were lost.” Check out a preview of the map below... It's possible that we'll also see the release of a brand new character

named Hammond. References to a small Gorilla named Hammond have been spotted in recent Blizzard updates. Talking about the new map and its content, Kaplan added: “You’ll even pick up on some

names and some potential mysteries of some of Winston’s peers. “Some of the other Gorillas that were also part of the Horizon experiment.” No mention has been made if a new hero is being

released, although Blizzard has been working on the next character for some time. Overwatch director Jeff Kaplan previously told Express Online that the team was "very far along with

hero number 25". The map launches alongside a new update that's likely to rebalance a number of the game's heroes. This includes tweaks to McCree, Roadhog and Reaper.

According to Blizzard... * McCree’s Deadeye is getting a major buff in attempts to make it easier to use before being killed. * Reaper is also seeing his Health Orbs removed and replaced by

a new system that allows for 20% of all damage done to heroes as health. * Roadhog’s hook is getting a small nerf while his head size is being reduced, this will hopefully boost his

“survivability.”
