One Direction reunion: Harry Styles spotted with Niall Horan for first time since split

The members of One Direction have not been seen together in public since the band’s famous split in 2015. That has all changed with the arrival of new paparazzi shots which show Styles and

Horan hiking in Los Angeles together. No two members of the band have been seen in public since the split, making this meet-up a historic moment in 1D’s history.

The singers were both wearing sportswear and face masks and were remaining socially distanced due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Both Styles and Horan live in the LA area, so further meet-ups are still possible.

The pair’s conversation is a mystery, but the fact that they met up adds to the news that a reunion is on the way.

Styles has been in the press a lot recently amid a blossoming new relationship with Olivia Wilde.

Wilde is directing Styles in her new film, Don't Worry Darling.

Fellow 1D alum Liam Payne recently noted that he had also been speaking with a former member of the band after years apart.

Payne appeared on Capital FM where he discussed working with his pal two months ago.

On meeting with the band, Liam said: “I’d love that, honestly. I would.”

The 27-year-old then confessed: “I was on the phone to Louis [Tomlinson] for a good hour yesterday. And yeah, you know.

“I think we just needed a proper catch up. Actually it was nice to catch up for the ten-year anniversary.”

Liam added: “But yeah I’m hoping we’ve got a lot more to come from us… Yeah I think we’ve got a lot more to come.”

His comments on “more coming” for the band coincide with the latest odds from Coral.

The bookie recently published promising 1/2 odds on the British boyband getting back together this year.

These odds have been slashed drastically from 4/5 last year.

Coral’s John Hill commented: “The betting suggests One Direction could be set for a sensational return in 2021 in a reunion of some kind.

“Unfortunately for 1D fans, the odds indicate that it is more likely to be without new father Zayn Malik as he is odds against to feature.”

At the time of writing Zayn has 5/4 odds on making a comeback with his former pals.

Zayn left the band in 2015 while they were touring Europe on a world tour.

The singer cited “stress” and wanting to be a “normal 22-year-old” as the reasons for his exit.

Styles later commented on Zayn’s exit, saying: “Especially in hindsight looking at it now, the last thing I would’ve wanted is for him to have stayed there if he didn’t want to be there.”
