When there is a problem with a food product which means it should not be sold it might be withdrawn from shelves or recalled, customers are asked to return the item. Aldi, Iceland and Lidl

are the latest supermarkets to recall foods that have been branded "unsafe to eat" due to the presence of allergens, or foreign objects. LIDL A statement from the Food Standards

Agency (FSA) read: "Lidl is recalling various Tower Gate Cookies because they may contain pieces of metal. The possible presence of metal makes these products unsafe to eat." Lidl
