With autumn fast approaching some say that we're almost in 'pumpkin spice season', with the always-popular autumnal beverage making its annual return to Starbucks. But while

it's certainly a delicious drink, it can be a bit expensive to buy all the time. Luckily influencer Genevieve Howland, who posts on Instagram as Mama Natural, has shared a recipe for

making a pumpkin spice latte in the comfort of your own home - and it's healthier than high street options. Sharing the recipe, Genevieve wrote: "PUMPKIN SEASON! A copycat that’s

healthier and less expensive? Yes, please! "One of my greatest passions is making a healthy lifestyle taste good. So, after much tinkering, I’ve put together a healthier version of the

popular seasonal favourite: the Starbucks Pumpkin Spice Latte." PUMPKIN SPICE LATTE INGREDIENTS * 4 oz. of very strong coffee (or 1 shot espresso). * 3/4 cup of milk (Genevieve used

almond milk but any can be used for the latte) * 3 tbsp. organic pumpkin puree * 1 tbsp. of real maple syrup5 drops of monk fruit (optional) * 1/8 tsp. of pumpkin pie spice * 1/8 tsp. of

organic vanilla extract * Pinch of coconut sugar for topping Genevieve also adds one scoop of her own brand's collagen, although this can be skipped - or replaced with whatever collagen

you typically use. METHOD Blend the coffee, pumpkin puree, spices, vanilla extract, collagen, monk fruit and maple syrup using either an immersion or regular blender. Heat your chosen milk

and use a frother or blender to create a frothy mixture. Pour the coffee mixture into a large cup and top with the frothy milk and dust with coconut sugar. Genevieve added: "With less

calories and nearly half the sugar of the original, this recipe has all the flavor with none of the guilt. And bonus! Adding in the scoop of Mama Natural Multi-Collagen Protein is an easy

way to get those extra health benefits like bone and joint support, healthier looking skin, and stronger nails."
