Impressively, Meghan Markle who gave birth to her first child Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor in May this year has managed to complete 26 royal engagements according to the Court
Circular. While Kate, Duchess of Cambridge, whose three children Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis are all aged six and under, has completed 48 engagements this year to
date. Sophie, Countess of Wessex, whose children are aged 15 and 11, has attended 69 engagements this year to date, which is the third lowest number. In comparison Princess Anne whose
children are grown-ups and have young children of their own, has so far completed the highest number of engagements at 163, having taken on some of the responsibilities her father, Prince
Philip used to undertake. But despite this commitment to her royal duty, Ms Wysock-Wight said Princess Anne shows herself to be a “doting, supportive mother and grandmother” whenever she is
around her children and grandchildren. The Queen is the next hardest working mother having undertaken 141 engagements so far this year and Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall, is in third place
with 73 engagements.
