When self-isolating, people should not go out even to buy food or other essentials, other than exercise, and in that case at a safe distance from others. Isolation means not leaving the
home, at all and even opening the door to receive a delivery is not advised. This means walks are also not a possibility, though if you have a pet that needs to be taken out then Health
Secretary has the following advice: “People should go outside. Yes, walk your pets, but, if you’re in household isolation, do go outside but try to avoid other people.”
