He has hosted his own radio show, Fruit Corner, fronted You’ve Been Framed and Harry Hill’s TV Burp and penned children’s book Matt Millz. His hit show Harry Hill’s Tea Time returns on
Tuesday. Harry, 53, is married to Magda Archer and has three children, Kitty, Winifred and Frederica. TELL US ABOUT SERIES TWO OF TEA TIME… We’ve definitely ramped up the silliness. For
example, we’ve got Gregg Wallace meeting his long lost brother Egg Wallace, and I go bin diving with Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall. THERE’S A LOT OF SINGING, ISN’T THERE? I’ve always liked
using music in TV shows. You don’t get enough of it. It’s nice to break up a show with some variety. It’s a bit panto, I guess. WHERE DO YOU GET YOUR IDEAS FROM? For this series I looked
at some old recipe books from people like Marguerite Patten. You know, pictures of horrible looking meals with congealed gravy. I was on Saturday Kitchen once with James Martin and it
occurred to me that it might be a funny idea for a TV show. If I ever get a bit stuck I think, “What’s the least likely thing to happen?” HARRY HILL ADMITS HE DOESN'T LIKE HIS MEAL ON
SATURDAY KITCHEN WHICH OF YOUR SHOWS IS YOUR FAVOURITE? Tea Time is my favourite. I’m allowed to do what I want. It’s not dependent on the week’s TV or clips of people falling over. I know
everyone loves TV Burp, but this has been the most fun for me. GETTY Harry knows TV Burp is a fan favourite, but he enjoys Tea Time more WHAT ELSE DO YOU HAVE PLANNED FOR 2018? Alien Fun
Capsule will be back on telly in April. I imagine I’ll be back on You’ve Been Framed, which is the gift that keeps on giving. I’m working on some other shows, too, and finishing off book two
of Matt Millz. HARRY HILL TALKS ABOUT TAKING ON HIS FIRST SERIOUS ACTING ROLE AS PROFESSOR BRANESTAWM WHAT’S THE MOST MONEY YOU’VE EVER BLOWN IN ONE GO? I probably bought a painting. I’m
a big fan of art. If I get a windfall I try and spend at least some of it on a painting that I like. WHAT’S THE STRANGEST THING YOU’VE EVER READ ABOUT YOURSELF? Apparently I was a brain
surgeon. I’m not sure who put that on Wikipedia. My kids used to change my entry to make it less flattering. At one time, it said that I lived in a damp one-bedroom flat in south London.
Harry Hill’s Tea Time continues on Tuesdays at 8.30pm on Sky One.
