A number of Virgin Media customers are being offered a brand-new way to fill their homes with smart devices, thanks to joint venture with Google. The two companies have joined forces to

offer full-fibre broadband customers the chance to take delivery of new gadgets, such as the Nest Hello doorbell and Nest Hub smart speakers for a flat monthly fee. The bundles are being

launched in areas including Cardiff, Manchester and Southampton with Virgin saying it's created the service to cater for the growing demand in connected home security. All of the

devices from Google, including its doorbell and smart speakers, include a camera and are connected to the web meaning you can keep an eye on your home when you're out and about. The

Nest Hello even allows you to speak to whoever has pressed the bell with all video and audio shown via an app on your smartphone. Speaking about the update, Annie Brooks, Executive Director
