Mother-of-two Kate is popular with young and old in Britain, and she has an undeniable flair for fashion and style. Prince William's wife is rarely spotted with a hair out of place and
we've decided to take a walk in her shoes. Akin Konizi, HOB Salons’ International Creative Director, has let us into the secrets behind Kate's look and how YOU can recreate it at
home. The Four time British Hairdresser of the Year and Current Nominee has written the step-by-step for everyone to follow - good luck! MID PONYTAIL Step one: Prep your hair with
Sebastian Potion 9 on the middle lengths and ends and use Sebastian Volupt Spray (£22.50 @ HOB Salons) on the roots to add volume and texture. Step Two: Using just your hands, gather the
hair back and place it into a low ponytail at the back, middle of your head and secure with a hairband. Step Three: Next, taking a stand out of the ponytail, wrap this around the hair band
to conceal it and secure with a Kirby-Grip. Step Four: Finally finish the look with Sebastian Zero Gravity hairspray (£17.50 @ HOB Salons) or the Nioxin Thickening Spray for a long lasting
thickening style. LONG WAVY Step One: Prep your hair with Sebastian Mousse Forte ( £21.50 @ HOB Salons) or Nioxin Therm Active 3D and blow dry smooth with a round bristle brush. Step Two:
Curl the hair with a tong backwards off the face, towards the centre back of your head. Step Three: Using a Mason Pearson Brush, brush through your lengths and ends to pull all the curls out
to achieve a loose wave. Step Four: Lastly, use Sebastian Re- Shaper Hairspray (£17.50 @ HOB Salons) and your hands to mould all the waves into place. UP – DO Step One: Section off a small
horse shoe shape on the top of the head and keep this separate to the rest of the hair. Step Two: Then French plait the remainder of the sides of the hair starting at the front and bringing
the plait all the way back to the neck. Step Three: Crossing them over, pin them as you like to best suit you. Once they are secured begin to pull them our loosely to create a softness.
Step Four: Taking the horseshoe section you have left out at the top of the head, backcomb at the root to create height and use a brush to smooth out the top of the hair and loosely pin this
to the back of the head. Step Four: Finish with Sebastian Shaper Fierce Hairspray (£17.50 @ HOB Salons) for perfect hold and SP Luxe Oil Mist for a glossy finish. WAVEY LONGER LOOK Step
One: Spritz Wella EIMI Thermal Image Heat Protector (£10.75 @ HOB Salons) throughout the hair and loosely tong the hair at the back. Step Two: Taking a small section on either side, twist
these sections and bring them back to the centre of the back of your head and secure with grips. Step Three: For a raw and undone finish, apply Sebastian Texture Maker (£ 22.50 @ HOB Salons)
on your finished style.
