Kate and Prince William showed their support for Her Majesty and her powerful message to the country yesterday evening. Shortly after the Queen's speech aired on TV, radio and on the
Royal Family's official social media platforms, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge shared a picture of the Queen on their Instagram account. The snap was a shot taken during the speech,
showing the Queen in a green emerald dress with a stern but calm expression. Kate and William added one of the most powerful lines of the Queen's recent speech as a caption. It read:
"We should take comfort that while we may have more still to endure, better days will return: we will be with our friends again; we will be with our families again; we will meet
again." PLEASE SIGN UP TO PLEDGE YOUR SUPPORT NOW TO OUR BRAVE NHS HEROES The couple, posting on their Kensington Royal Instagram account, added: "Her Majesty The Queen has
addressed the UK and Commonwealth in a special broadcast recorded at Windsor Castle — visit @TheRoyalFamily to watch in full." The post received hundreds of thousands of likes, but the
praises in the comments were mostly for the monarch and the calming effects her words had on viewers. One said: "This will be lost in a sea of comments but still, I want to write to say
thank you Ma’am, you are an endless source of inspiration, solace and familiarity and I am very grateful to you. "Long live the Queen." READ MORE: PHILLIP SCHOFIELD IN EMOTIONAL
QUEEN CONFESSION AFTER HISTORIC SPEECH Another said: "Such an incredible, wonderful Lady. "Fantastic to hear her speech, we are so lucky to have her." A third added: "So
comforting in troubled times." DON'T MISS Kate and William showed their support for the Queen also on Twitter. Earlier today, the Kensington Royal account retwitted a message
shared by staff at NHS Nightingale hospital in London. It read: "Thank you to Her Majesty the Queen for recognising the hard work of our frontline key workers in tonight’s
#QueensSpeech. "Here’s our staff listening inside Nightingale. "We will defeat this. #StayHomeSaveLives" The Queen delivered her fourth speech at a time of crisis yesterday
at 8pm. The monarch usually speaks to the country on Christmas Day and delivers the words of the Government at the State Opening of Parliament. However, the Queen can issue a national
address to mark particular occasions. The first time she did so was in 1991, during the Gulf War. She did it once again in 1997, following the death of Princess Diana, to commemorate the
late Princess of Wales and remembering her legacy. In 2002, the grieving monarch spoke again to the British public to thank for the affection showed after the death of the Queen Mother.
