The star is reported to have signed up to replace Kylie Minogue as a coach on BBC singing show The Voice later this year. Kosovo-born singer Rita, who recently split up with boyfriend DJ
Calvin Harris, is said to have agreed a "six-figure" deal to join current coaches will.i.am, Ricky Wilson and Sir Tom Jones. Aussie pop queen Kylie quit the show after one series
to concentrate on her own music career. She said she "absolutely loved" the talent show but that filming commitments would clash with her planned European tour. The star, who
replaced Jessie J on the coaching panel last year, took to her Twitter account to announce the news, revealing that her work commitments meant she couldn't continue. "#Lovers, due
to timing of my tour I won't be back next season for The Voice UK," she wrote. Adding: "Thanks to all who supported! Hope to see you on my KMO tour!" Her departure was
seen as a blow to the show which has struggled in the past against rival ITV shows. Her debut appearance helped attract 8.4 million viewers - two million more than in the previous year when
the line-up featured singer Jessie J and The Script frontman Danny O'Donoghue, alongside Sir Tom and will.i.am. A BBC spokeswoman said they would not comment on speculation.
