The victim, aged in his 30s, was attacked on Romilly Street at about 6am. One woman, aged in her 40s, has been arrested after officers swooped onto the scene. A crime scene is in place as
police continue to investigate. City of Westminster Police said on Twitter: “A crime scene is in place in Romilly St, Soho whilst we investigate a stabbing at 6:00am. A quick police response
resulted in an arrest.” It comes after 17-year-old Jodie Chesney was stabbed to death in a Romford park on Friday. Police were called to the scene, near St Neot's Road in Harold Hill,
at about 9.25pm but the teenager died just over an hour later. So far, no arrests have been made and her family are urging anyone with information to come forward. Jodie's grandmother
Debbie Chesney said in a Facebook post: "This was our youngest granddaughter. "How have we come to this point where kids can't have a walk in a park without suffering an
unprovoked attack? "If anyone knows anything about this please contact the police with information. "We don't want anyone else to go through what our family is suffering right
now. "This has to stop, there are too many young people having their lives cut short by needless violence." On Saturday, a 50-year-old was found dead with knife injuries at a
property in Hendon, north-west London, bringing the number of homicides in London this year so far to 19. A 54-year-old man was arrested at the scene on suspicion of murder. Anyone with
information about the Soho stabbing should contact Central West CID on 101 quoting reference 1783/03Mar19.
