Brexit Party MEPs have quit to support Prime Minister Boris Johnson in the run-up to the general election on December 12 including Jacob Rees-Mogg’s sister Annunziata. Lance Forman and John
Longworth have also left the party. Lucy Harris explained it is because her “heart is in” Brexit that she decided to tactifully leave the party less than two weeks before the election.
Speaking to LBC, Ms Harris said: “How the constitution works is that there are two main parties who can win. “It is either Labour or the Tory Party. “The unfortunate position we find
ourselves in is if you vote for Labour it will lead to a second referendum and potentially cancelling Brexit altogether. “Whereas if you vote for the Tory Party they are offering a Brexit.

2016 is upheld. “But I totally get why a lot of Brexit Party supporters might feel let down and for me, it was a really, really hard decision to make. “I’ve been campaigning for Brexit for
three years. “It’s been on my mind for three years. Nigel Farage has since launched a scathing attack on the four Brexit MEPs who quit his party on Thursday. Speaking to BBC’s Andrew Neil,
the Brexit Party leader said: “well let’s just run through that very quickly. "One of them is the sister of a Cabinet Minister. “Another one of them has a boyfriend working for that
cabinet minister." “Fact. Another one is a personal friend of Boris Johnson."
