polls , there was a clear shift towards Labour. Mr McDonnell said: “You’ve seen what the polls are doing. “It’s like 2017, exactly then before the election itself polls were predicting we

were going to be wiped out. “I don’t believe all the polls but the trend is towards Labour. “We’re not in a situation where I think tomorrow will demonstrate that actually we can form a

majority Labour government."
