Norwegian Princess Martha Louise's boyfriend, spiritual guide Shaman Durek appeared on This Morning today, where he offered his tips on remaining mindful and said the pandemic will

teach the world to “come out of narcissism and realise what is important”. Speaking to This Morning presenters Holly Willoughby and Philip Schofield he said: “In Shamanism, we have these

things called the 'blackout'". He explained a blackout as a reset for the world, and a point where humans begin to evaluate how we go about our daily lives. “We all know about

it, it’s a point in evolution, where we all have to come together and start dropping a lot of the superficial things we put our energy into. “We need to start caring for the earth, caring

for ourselves, caring for the animals. "This is the first stage, known as the "plague" - when we come out of narcissism and realise what is important.” “This one is an all

global blackout, which is really getting everyone to really see it's time to pause, reset and regenerate and look at what is important. Which is life and which is love. “The next phase,

if we don't make the right choices, are all the things that happen to the earth. "How it will affect our lives, there will be all these different things that are happening.” He

encouraged British people to be more open and connect with family and friends, especially during the coronavirus crisis. He said: “What I’ve noticed a lot in British culture, you were taught

to have a stiff upper lip - but this is a time to feel those emotional connections with your family and everyone around you, and make connections to really see what is important.” Durek,

who is based in Los Angeles, said people are seeking his guidance now more than ever. A shaman is someone who connects with the spiritual world and uses this connection to provide guidance

to others. On his website, Mr Durek describes himself as “mediator or ‘bridge’ between the spiritual and physical planes, applies ancient spiritual wisdom, coupled with decades of devoted

study and practice, to help bring success, happiness and healing into people's lives.” Mr Everett has been dating Princess Märtha Louise of Norway since May 2019, fourth in line to the

Norwegian throne. She was previously married to author Ari Behn, who she divorced in 2017. She announced on Instagram that the pair had formed a relationship, writing: “Shaman Durek is

merely a man I love spending my time with and who fulfills me. So thank you for respecting my actions and my choice of partner. “All I know at this moment is that we love each other and I am

super happy.”
