Eight engines and about 60 firefighters were sent to Churchill Road, Willesden to fight the blaze. The two-story, terraced house has seen half of the first floor and part of the roof space

set in flames. London Fire Brigade was alerted to the incident at 1:35am, with the cause of the fire unknown at this time. The crews are cutting equipment to get better access to the house

to tackle the flames The crews were been pulled from Willesden, North Kensington, West Hampstead, Park Royal and surrounding fire stations to tackle the house fire. At 4:19am, the

firefighters managed to get the blaze under control. No injuries have been reported from the incident, with only property damage on the first floor seen. The firefighters are expected to

remain at the site overnight as they dampen down hot spots.  Station Commander Neil Dickinson issued an update after the fire was under control. He said: "The fire appears to have

started on the first floor of the building and spread into the roof space of the house, where there is heavy smoke logging. "Crews used cutting equipment to remove tiles from the roof

and gain access to ensure the fire was under control. "Crews are expected to remain on scene for a number of hours, damping down remaining hot spots." The London Fire Brigade also

had to tackle a blaze in West Wickham yesterday morning. A restaurant on Glebe Way caught alight after a fat fryer was left unattended, and the brigade were called at 6:53am. Firefighters

evacuated 22 people from properties next to the restaurant and isolated gas and electrical supplies into the building. While the fire was accidental, a London Fire Brigade spokesman said:

“Cooking with hot oil can be really dangerous, as it can easily overheat, so it’s important to keep an eye on it at all times.” A Heston industrial estate also caught alight on Wednesday

night, with 70 fighters sent to the site. One unit at the industrial estate used for commercial laundry was destroyed by fire, and a small area of two further units was damaged. Fire

investigators from the brigade believed the fire was caused by self-heating tea towels which were contaminated with oils. Willesden saw another devastating house fire on Denzil Road in 2019.

A spokesman for the London Fire Brigade said: "Four fire engines and around 25 firefighters were called to a fire at a flat on Denzil Road in Willesden. “The first floor and roof were

destroyed by fire. Part of the ground floor was damaged. "The Brigade was called at 7.23pm and the fire was under control by 9.52pm.  “Fire crews from Park Royal, North Kensington,

Wembley, and Paddington fire stations attended the incident."
