Charles, 45, landed in the bottom two for the second time on Strictly Come Dancing at the weekend but was saved by the judges. Fellow contestant Katie Piper, 35, who failed to impress the
judges with her Jive, scoring just 18 with partner Gorka Marquez, 28. However, it was Charles’ scores which caused It Takes Two host Zoe, 47, to pull up BBC judge Bruno, 62, over his scores.
The panel awarded Charles and Karen, 36, a score of 25 for their Salsa, which was the exact same score they received the week previous. Bruno was the only judge to score Charles a higher
mark, giving the couple a seven where as his fellow judges awarded the pair a six each. Sitting down with Charles and Karen following their second dance-off, Zoe said Bruno should have
scored the couple higher. Zoe told the couple,: “We are showing you big, big love here on the show. “We are cross, they’re so naughty,” referring to the judges scores for the couple, who did
look deflated for a moment. Charles admitted performing in the dance off for a second time was worse than the first time, which he did in Movie Week. Zoe later asked Bruno indirectly as he
was not in the studio: “Bruno, where are the points?” Zoe posed the question she commended Charles on one particular moment during his Salsa to the song Use It Up and Wear It Out by
Odyssey. The host seemed flustered as she told Charles: “We thought you deserved extra points for just doing the striptease.” She then commented on Bruno’s reaction which caused her to
state the judge should have scored Charles higher for the ‘Magic Mike’ moment. Even though he face the dreaded dance off, Charles said it felt great that all four judges decided to keep him
in the competition, instead, opting to send home Katie. Referring to the codance, Zoe told the judges: “A little more please,” asmented on the acconsistency over the past two weeks.
