Channel 5 debuted its gritty new drama 15 Days on Monday, May 13 and will be playing out oner the course of the week. The show focuses on the murder of a young man by another family member.

15 Days audiences will be getting a conclusion towards the tail-end of the week. HOW MANY EPISODES ARE IN 15 DAYS ON CHANNEL 5? 15 Days consists of four episodes in total which will be

airing on consecutive days this week. The series started on May 13 and will be wrapping up on Thursday, May 16. Episode one of 15 Days set the scene with audiences introduced to the various

members of the family. 15 Days stars former Coronation Street Catherine Tyldesley as Sara, David Caves of Silent Witness fame as Michael and Unforgotten’s Tom Rhys Harries as Rhys. WHO IS IN

THE CAST OF 15 DAYS ON CHANNEL 5? Other cast members include Gabrielle Creevy as Catrin, Geraint Morgan as Gareth and Mali Tudno Jones as Nia. Although the action starts with the murder of

someone, the story rewinds 15 days and sees the events leading up to the fatal shooting. Like most family dramas, the show focuses on a family who comes together following the death of their

mother. Despite the tragedy, it’s not long before a vicious fight begins over the details of the will. Over the course of the series secrets and feuds from the past will come out as the

in-fighting for the money. Speaking about the story, former Coronation Street star Catherine Tyldesley said: “It’s based around this family who have come back together because their mother

has passed away and they are all eager to see what is happening with the will. “My character Sara had a close relationship with her father, who died five years earlier, and she believes she

may well inherit the family farm now her mum has passed away, too.” She added to TV Times: “It’s of great sentimental value to her, whereas with some of the other family members, it’s just

about the money.” The actress admitted to Evening Express she was “immediately drawn” to the role after playing Eva Price in the ITV soap for seven years. Tyldesley described her character

as a “complex woman at a very challenging time in her life” and said it was “gift” of a role for her as an actress. 15 Days takes its cue from the Welsh-language drama on S4C called 35

Diwrnod - which means 35 Days in Welsh. The drama was filmed on location in Cardiff with a mainly Welsh cast. 15 Days signals a shift for Channel 5 which is looking to produce more
