Play all audios:

Britain’s Got Talent’s fifth and last semi-final of the year took place tonight (Friday, May 31). Only two more acts from tonight’s show could join the other eight acts already through to

Sunday’s (June, 2) grand final. If you need to catch up on any BGT semi-finals to see who made it through, you can catch up now via the ITV Hub. WHO MADE IT THROUGH THE LAST SEMI-FINAL OF

BGT? The top three acts chosen by the public were Libby and Charlie, Jonathan Goodwin and X. The act who received the most public votes and was safely sent through to Sunday's final was

X.  This meant, the four judges - Amanda Holden, Simon Cowell, Alesha Dixon and David Walliams - had to decide between Libby and Charlie and Jonathan Goodwin to go through to the final.

David Walliams voted to save Jonathan Goodwin and so did Alesha Dixon.  Amanda Holden voted to save Libby and Charlie and so did Simon Cowell, meaning the vote went to the public vote. In

the end, Jonathan Goodwin received the second highest number of public votes and was sent through to the final.   Sadly, this meant Libby and Charlie was sent home alongside the five other

acts who performed in the last BGT semi-final. WHO WILL WIN BGT 2019? Here is a look at who performed in tonight’s semi-final: • Stand-up comedian Barbara Nice • Dance troupe Fabulous

Sisters • Tambourinist Gonzo • Singer Jacob Jones • Escape Artist Jonathan Goodwin • Singer Leanne Mya • Mentalist ‘X’ • Dance Duo Libby & Charlie WHY DID SIMON COWELL WALK OFF BGT? No

more Golden Buzzer acts will take part in Britain’s Got Talent semi-finals. Only Simon Cowell’s golden buzzer act comedian Kojo Anim and David William’s golden buzzer, Flakefleet Children’s

Choir made it through to Sunday’s final. Unfortunately, Alesha Dixon’s golden buzzer act Giorgia Borg did not make it through and neither did Amanda Holden’s teenage boyband Chapter 13 or

Ant and Dec’s 13-year-old dancer Akshat Singh. There was some drama before tonight's show after Magicians Brotherhood announced they were pulling out of the competition earlier today.

They were replaced by dancing duo Libby and Charlie. They posted on Instagram: “We’ve learned to stay humble in the good times and humble in defeat. “We’ve worked for the last 4 months on an

act so ambitious and out there that we’ve put our sanity, blood, sweat, fire and tears on the line. “Through circumstance and bad luck out of our hands sadly we aren’t in a position where

we can deliver what we set out to do. It kills me that we’ve failed and that we will no longer be in 2019’s @bgt competition. “Thank you to each and every single person that messaged us

(both the love and the hate) – you’ve made us smile and proud. 4 yes’s and 2.6 million views on YouTube makes this crazy ride worth it. Big love. See you soon.” In the final Jonathan Goodwin
