Bethany Platt (played Lucy Fallon) will be leaving Coronation Street in the near future after the ITV soap star revealed she would be stepping away from the show. In scenes that will air

Coronation Street news, ex-Tracy Barlow star Dawn Acton revealed the real reason she quit. During an appearance on Lorraine, the former soap star spoke out on her reasons for turning her
back on acting. “Last time I was in the programme I was 22,” she told stand-in host Christine Lampard. “I just had my son… My son was a baby and the acting world was precarious.” Dawn went
on to explain she wanted to find a more stable career as a young mum. However despite the admission, Dawn confessed she wouldn’t rule returning to acting in the future. She added: “I’d never
say never, you never know and I have done the odd bit of [amateur dramatics] over the years.” The former Coronation Street star played the role of Tracy from 1988 to 1999 before being
replaced by Kate Ford. _CORONATION STREET CONTINUES TONIGHT AT 7.30PM ON ITV._
