Although it’s a topic which divides fans of the novel and series, the television adaptation's heartbreaking ending left everyone wanting more. Show director Lenny Abrahamson - who also

spoke at the screening series - opened up on how he felt about the prospect of there being more to come from the characters.  He said: “I mean, I think having gone through the process of

being so deep in this world for so long… like, I don't think ‘What will happen?’ because I know they're not real.”  However, he did suggest there could be more to come one day. 

Lennt added: “I think there are many truthful possible futures for those characters, maybe that's a better way of saying it.  “I think there is a world in which in three or four years
