The money expert found his attention diverted during his chat with hosts Ben Shephard and Susanna Reid as he noticed the Strictly Come Dancing star practicing his raunchy routine with

partner Katya Jones.

Clearly unimpressed, he told the anchors: “I’ve just seen things that nobody should see this time of the morning.”

“Shame on you!” he then raged across the studio, prompting a rather blushing response from a seemingly awkward Ed.

I’ve just seen things that nobody should see this time of the morning.

The former politician was on the show to talk about his time on Strictly, as well as the possibility of rejoining the Labour Party.

Asked if he would consider a return to the party, Ed said: “Look, if I wanted to be the leader of the Labour Party then I wouldn’t have done all of that Zoolander stuff at the weekend.”

Susanna then reminded the star that American president-elect Donald Trump once hosted The Apprentice, to which Ed replied: “I’m slightly worried that he still thinks it’s a reality TV show.

“Politics is so up and down at the moment. If I spent the past three months looking to get into politics then you would have known. I’m really enjoying doing what I’m doing and I’m excited

for the tour.”

Ed also went on to joke about the many spray tans he endured during his time on the show, and joked: “I actually found it quite titillating.

“I slowly darkened up so I started with kind of Cornwall in May and I got to Lanzarote in July. Danny Mac goes full on Marbella in the sun August.”
