Actor Michael Havers and ex-agent friend Michael Whitehall were appearing on the BBC programme to explore the West Country when the incident happened. Travelling in an old TVR, 65-year-old
Nigel was joined by valuation expert Margie Cooper when their car "exploded", forcing the pair to make other travel arrangements. As smoke could be seen to billow from the rear of
the car, Tim Wonnacott teased: "Talk about Chariots Of Fire!" Frantic, Nigel and Margie alerted the film crew and shouted: "We've got smoke coming out of the back!"
Tim jibed once more from the voiceover booth: "They're right you know. Better pull over! I'm sure this doesn't happen on Nigel's usual productions." Hurrying
out of the car, Margie gasped: "Oh Nigel!" as the film star looked at the leaking vehicle and noted: "See, look at this!" Worried, Margie asked: "Oh my. So what
would happen? Would it blow up?" Alarmed by the filming chaos, Nigel said: "Well it could do if it gets really, really hot." Abandoning the car and walking out of shot, Nigel
snapped: "Shall we just leave it there? No one is going to steal it! It wouldn't go anywhere would it!" Getting off the bus at Southgate, Michael then answered the phone to
his celebrity rival Michael. He quipped: "Hello, it's me, yes. Just to let you know, our car blew up. We managed to get out before it exploded. "We ran into a field and then
we hopped on a bus eventually and now we're going to work." Once again, Tim teased: "Always call your agent, eh!" _CELEBRITY ANTIQUES ROAD TRIP CONTINUES TOMORROW ON BBC
