The Gypsy King and Bronze Bomber locked horns over the weekend. But after an enthralling clash, the bout was controversially called a tie. Fury was interviewed on the Old Trafford pitch at
half time and was asked if he feels any sense of injustice from the Wilder decision. “Of course but I’m not going to go on about it for ever,” he said. “Life goes on. I got robbed blind in
America, the world knows it, but we go on. Continue to the next fight.” A rematch is on the cards and Fury is adamant that he wants it at the Theatre of Dreams. Asked if the next fight could
be in Manchester, Fury said: “Frank Warren said Arsenal, I said ‘no, let’s have it at Old Trafford!’. “Hopefully we can have it here in the summer.” Wilder has already committed to fighting
Fury again. “I’m willing and ready to give Fury the opportunity asap,” said Wilder. “It’s only right to give Fury a rematch as soon as possible. “I’m ready whenever he’s ready to do it.
“I’m ready to give the fans what they wanna see and end this talk once and for all.” Wilder floored Fury in the 12th round. The Brit star looked to be out for the count, but miraculously
recovered. “I don’t know how this man got up,” Wilder added. “He don’t even know how he got up. “I believe God got this man up for the rematch. “He woke up from hell and I’m willing to put
him back there. “Some people feel like I don’t want the rematch. “Why would I not? I’m the baddest man on the planet. “Early next year, I’m ready to go, maybe March, maybe April. I don’t
want no-one else.“
