Google Maps Street View can be fairly unforgiving in its photographing of people. if you're snapped by the Google cameras you'll likely end up on Street View even though the tech

giant will protect your identity by hiding your face. One man in Sheffield, UK fell foul of Google Maps when he was caught spying on his neighbours. He was snapped standing in a driveway

looking over a wall.  It would seem he is looking into next door's garden and the interactions between a trio of teenagers. The youngsters look to be engaged in a fight - one boy is on

the floor while another stands over him grappling with him. A third boy is bending over the pair, apparently in an attempt to break the two apart. In the Google shot which shows the brawl,

it seems the top of the head of the man can be seen poking out just above the wall as he watches the group. As the tableau is frozen in time there’s no knowing what is really going on in the

series of images. It’s not clear whether the fight is a violent one or just light-hearted play or whether the man is annoyed by the kerfuffle or concerned. Sometimes what Google Maps

captures in driveways as the Google car drives by can prove rather poignant. In front of another house in the UK, at the end of the drive, is a woman dressed in jeans and a blouse watering

flowers. A lady called Denise Underhill once spotted the scene as she explored Google Maps to look a the house she used to live in. The woman in the driveway turned out to be her mother -

who had died 18 months previously. Denise told local paper Tamworth Herald how she’d had an urge one day to ring her mother, but knew she couldn’t. So, instead, she ”decided to Google Earth

[her] mother’s home to see how it looked, considering, since she had passed away in 2015 and the property had been sold.” Denise said: “At the foot of the driveway was my mother. She was

watering the garden, just as she always did. “I was absolutely astounded – it made my day. You never know what photos are being taken but they really do last a lifetime. I think someone

wanted me to see this.” Sometimes those using Google Maps stumble across scenes they’d really rather not see. For instance a man in Lima, Peru once spotted his wife in the arms of another

man. He first realised it was her when he observed that the woman in the Google shot had the exact same clothes his wife did. The man went on to confront his wife about her infidelity

following the discovery in 2013, which she admitted to. The couple, whose names have not been revealed, later divorced as a result of the wife’s affair.
