CONTERM, ECU LINE END "CONSPIRACY" SUIT    California-based non-vessel-operating common carriers Conterm International and ECU Line USA said late Tuesday that they have


"amicably resolved" all outstanding legal issues from a lawsuit filed in the Los Angeles Superior Court.    The suit, filed by Conterm earlier this year, alleged that former


president Peter Gruettner took company secrets with him when he joined ECU.    Both companies said the details of the agreement are covered by a confidentiality clause and will not be


disclosed. "I'm glad this ordeal is over," Gruettner said. "Now I can focus my attention on building ECU Line and serving the freight forwarding community." TO
