PR pic Schaffer will be launching a reworked version of its mid-range articulated telescopic handler at the Lamma show later this month. The 6680T has maximum lift capacity of 2.8t and can
take 2.5t to its 4.9m lift height using a telescopic section supported by lower wear friction pads. See also: Loader test: Schaffer v Wiedemann The 72-litre/min gear pump hydraulics and a
transmission are powered by a Deutz rather than Kubota engine of 75hp output, with a DOC enabling it to meet Stage 3B emissions but no DPF to add potential maintenance costs. In addition to
new axles, the High Traction Force hydrostatic drive system contains a new variable displacement pump with higher operating pressure and improved efficiency. Thrust force is said to be
increased by 20%.
