The junior champion from yesterday’s pre-sale show, Marlepark Elite from Castlewigg Farming has just sold at 10,000gns. This is an Ampertaine Bravo and out of Normande Pamela, a Shire
Handsome daughter. With a beef value of +48, he sold to Messrs Clark for the Mayfields herd, Sheffield. Following him was the reserve junior champion Reddings Excel, a Redstroke Valentino
son out of Reddings Belinda, a Sarkley Thunderbolt daughter. He has a beef value of +36. He was knocked down at 7000gns. A few lots earlier Dinmore Extra, by Dinmore Bulldozer and out of
Dinmore Athena, a Wilodge Profit daughter sold at 5000gns. He has a beef value of +25. Selling a few lots later was Swarland Eddie from the Procters. This Hartsideanew Boumsong son is out of
Swarland Valance, a Wilodge Riogrande daughter and has a beef value of +26. Admired by a number of pedigree men in the judging yesterday he went to James Alexander, Northern Ireland.
Immediately after him came Elderberry Eastyorkshireman, a Wilodge Vantastic son out of Sherry Uricka, a Jockey daughter. He sold at 5500gns with a beef value of +30.
