A road has been closed and a tree specialist drafted in to deal with a fallen tree. Central Avenue in Billingham, near to Belasis Avenue, has been shut by Stockton Council. A large tree has

fallen across the road blocking access. Cleveland Police have asked motorists to find alternative routes while the carriageway is cleaned up. A force spokesperson said: “Central Avenue in

Billingham has been closed by our colleagues Stockton Council while a tree surgeon deals with a large tree which has fallen, blocking the carriageway. “Please therefore seek alternative
