A man has been ordered to pay £100 in compensation after damaging a Surrey church with a brick. Police were called to St Peters Shared Church on Friday, January 24. There, doors and a glass
pane had been found smashed with a brick. Staff then located the man responsible who was still inside the church sleeping. Officers arrived at the scene and arrested Richard Fradley, 34, for
criminal damage. Fradley, of Glen Court, Addlestone, appeared at court on Monday, January 27. He was ordered to pay £100 compensation following the damages. An application has also been
made for benefit deduction and a collection order.
