Pizza Express and Pizza GoGo will have CCTV cameras installed following representations by Surrey Police, after they were both given permission to open later into the night. The popular food
outlets were instructed to have the cameras put in after changes were made to their licences during an eight-minute meeting of Reigate and Banstead Borough Council’s Licensing and
Regulatory Committee. Pizza Express, in Galley Walk, Redhill, will be allowed to sell alcohol later into the evening - until midnight Monday to Saturday and 11.30pm on Sundays - with other
‘late night refreshments’ available for a further 30 minutes. Pizza GoGo, in Holmesdale Road, Reigate, will be allowed to stay open until 1am Monday to Thursday, and until 2am Friday to
Sunday. However, the takeaway will only be open to the public until midnight with any orders after that time available as home delivery only via the store’s back door, after mediation from
Surrey Police. Logs must be maintained across both sites detailing the date and time of any unruly incidents that may be in breach of the licence. These, according to papers published as
part of the meeting on Tuesday, May 27, must be completed within 24 hours of the incident and be available to police or authorised officers on request. The licenses were all granted without
debate or questions from members. JOIN OUR NEW WHATSAPP COMMUNITY! CLICK THIS LINK TO RECEIVE YOUR DAILY DOSE OF SURREYLIVE CONTENT. WE ALSO TREAT OUR COMMUNITY MEMBERS TO SPECIAL OFFERS,
