Venerable Stephen Waine (aged 55) studied for the ministry at Westcott House, Cambridge. He served his title at Wolverhampton in the diocese of Lichfield from 1984 to 1988. From 1988 to 1993

he was Minor Canon and Succentor at St Paul’s Cathedral in the diocese of London. From 1993 to 2010 he was Vicar at Saint Edward Romford in the diocese of Chelmsford and from 2002 to 2010

was also Priest in Charge at Saint John Romford in the diocese of Chelmsford. Since 2010 he has been Archdeacon of Dorset and Canon and Prebendary of Sarum Cathedral, in the diocese of

Salisbury. Stephen has 2 children, Will (22) and Lucy (20). His interests include music, both listening and singing; sailing; watching sport, particularly football and cricket; playing golf
