Jammu Kashmir Liberation Front ( R) today condemned the killing of Gowher Ahmad Rather of Kangan, Ganderbal, in police firing, expressing solidarity with his family and demanding stern
action against the cops involved in the act. “It seems that authorities take pleasure from these sadistic and revengeful acts. The Kashmiri youths are the main targets now and we are seeing
that they are killing our youth ruthlessly,” a spokesman of the Front, quoted the JKLF leaders Barrister Abdul Majid Trumboo, AdvoateAyoobRathore and Wajahat Bashir Qureshi as having said.
Referring to the UN general secretary’s statement, the trio said, “Since the Kashmir issue is on top in UN agenda, it should move forward and impress upon India and Pakistan to engage in
trilateral dialogue.”
