The district administration in Srinagar has decided to impose restrictions under Section 144 CrPC in the jurisdiction of seven police stations tomorrow. Complete restrictions will be imposed
in the jurisdiction of Rainawari, Khanyar, Nowhatta, Safakadal and MR Gunj police stations while partial restrictions will be imposed in Maisuma and Kralkhud areas. An official said that
the restrictions will be imposed as a “precautionary measure” in the wake of killings of twelve militants and four civilians in south Kashmir on Sunday. Joint Resistance Leadership has
called for a strike in Kashmir Valley tomorrow.
