The 7-A-Side North Zone men’s hockey tournament-2019 was inaugurated at Amar Singh College ground, here on Wednesday. The tournament was inaugurated by Principal, Amar SinghCollege Professor

Kashmir Hockey Academy(KHA) in collaboration with Amar Singh College and J&K Sports Council. As per organizers statement it is first of its kind of men’stournament organised in Valley
and in it around 28 teams are participating withthree teams from outside State. On the inaugural day Khalsa Blue defeated DPS Srinagar by5-0 in first match while as in second match, Stadium
XI defeated Jagjit ClubUpliana by 2-0. In the third match, Bikram Club defeated Dr AGM city School by8-0 goals while as in the fourth match, Birring Hockey Club Jallandar defeated Rangreth
B by 5-0 goals.
