Tottenham Hotspur fans inside Old Trafford gloried in the struggles of Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho on Monday night, taunting the 55-year-old Portuguese that he would be
"sacked in the morning". The former Chelsea, Real Madrid and Inter Milan coach is under increasing pressure at Old Trafford as a fractured relationship between he and the United
executive vice-chairman is magnified by his side's poor results and style of football. United lost at home to Spurs thanks to goals from Harry Kane and Lucas Moura, sharpening the
atmosphere inside Old Trafford as angry home supporters bore witness to Tottenham's travelling support speculating that Mourinho "would be sacked in the morning" amid
United's poor form. Mourinho had, until Kane opened the scoring, spent much of the evening in jovial mood on the touchline. Indeed, it was a curious sight to observe 'the Special
One' sharing a joke with Mauricio Pochettino in Old Trafford's technical area considering the pressure has been under, and even moreso with the additional weight of Pochettino
being considered one of the favourites to replace him should relations with Woodward worsen to that degree. Spurs fans also sang "you're not special anymore" at Mourinho in
the defeat that leaves United with two defeats from their first three Premier League games after last week's 3-2 loss at Brighton.
