convenient and affordable the problems that come with it are what reduces its credibility. There have been multiple cases in the past when women passengers were sexually assaulted even
mounting to rape by drivers of app-based cab services. In one such case of misbehavior, an Uber driver kept messaging a Pune woman even after completing her ride much to her shock. Ambika
Sharma Anavkar, a Pune resident took to Facebook to share how the driver kept messaging her. At At first, she thought her cousin might have left behind something in the can and was trying to
get in touch with her. But to her dismay, she found that it was the Uber driver who was pestering her. In a Facebook post, she writes, “On the 07th of May I booked a cab from the airport to
Pashan in Pune with you for a relative and her 2 boys! The driver seemed friendly and asked her where was she coming from and tried making small talks, to which she initially replied with
politeness and later started ignoring. Now, this is what happens next. If this is not the beginning of harassment then what Is?” She further wrote that she no more trusts the company and
does not consider it safe anymore. She wrote, “I book my family with only uber because so far I felt safe and secure with you’ll. But not any more!!!” She also mentioned that Uber responded
to her quickly and apologised on behalf of the driver. She said that she was Uber assured that they will suspend the driver and take necessary actions against him. She has also shared

endangering the life of the victim. He was given maximum punishment of life imprisonment. In the wake of rising crimes, Uber has strengthened its policies however such incidents continue to
