BACHCHAN'S FATHER'S FUNERAL! Actress Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and filmmaker Karan Johar are making headlines right now and the reason is a brewing tiff between the two. India.com had

exclusively reported on Tuesday that issues cropped up between the two good friends during the promotions of Ae Dil Hai Mushkil. According to our source close to the film, while Aishwarya

was keen on promoting the film, KJo didn’t want her to step in, in the absence of Anushka Sharma. Apparently, the director didn’t want to confuse the audience about the female lead in the

film. While Anushka was the female protagonist, Ash just had an extended cameo in the love saga. That didn’t go down well with Aishwarya who has been giving Karan a cold shoulder ever since.

Speculations about their new equation peaked when the media failed to spot him at Aishwarya Rai Bachchan’s father Krishnaraj Rai’s funeral or the prayer meet. However, there seems to be

more than what meets the eye. A source close to Karan Johar revealed exclusively to India.com that the reports about a cold war between the actress-director duo are not true. The source

admitted that KJo couldn’t make it to the funeral or the prayer meet since he has been busy with his kids Yash and Roohi Johar. The source said, “Both the kids have been in the NICU ever

since they were born. They are supposed to come home any day now. Karan has been spending most of his free time at the hospital or making arrangements for the kids at home.” (ALSO READ: Why

bundles of joy. “He has been personally doing all the shopping for Yash and Johar. Right from the décor for the rooms to their clothes and toys, Karan has been busy making all the

arrangements before the kids finally come home,” said the source further revealing that Kjo and Ash are great friends and he is also very close to Abhishek and therefore he had been in touch

shared that while he couldn’t make it for the prayer meet he had visited Abhi-Ash at Lilavati hospital. Aishwarya is currently mourning the death of her father and will be out of public eye

for sometime now. Till then, we will just have to wait and watch to know if Karan and Aishwarya have gone from being friends-to-foes or if they have sorted issues (if any) between them. ALSO
