Suspects in Shooting Sought: Police on Sunday were seeking suspects in the fatal shooting of a 20-year-old man outside a Santa Ana liquor store. David Williams of Santa Ana died at Western
Medical Center after the shooting at the Joker Liquor, 1430 West 1st St., shortly after 10 p.m. Saturday, according to Sgt. Dick Faust. Williams’ companion, Timothy Smith, 21, also of Santa
Ana, had bumped into a man as he was leaving the store, Faust said. The man and several companions from a van parked nearby then surrounded Williams’ and Smith’s car, and one fired numerous
