LA MIRADA — This city’s Human Services Department offers a free job referral service to all residents 14 or older. With summer on the way, many employers in the fast-food, restaurant and
industrial business community are filling vacancies created during the fall and spring. Non-formal opportunities, such as temporary baby-sitting, gardening and single-day odd jobs, also
exist.
If you are interested in being employed permanently (full or part time) or just for the summer, contact the Youth Services Employment Office at 943-3739 or visit the office from 1 to 5 p.m.
