Bush Administration is proposing. The comment appeared to boost chances in Congress for a hike in the $3.35 hourly minimum wage. “The concept of an educational component to the minimum wage,
coupled with real training, is not unappealing,” Kennedy said in his qualified acceptance of the proposal. Kennedy’s committee is set to meet today to draft minimum wage legislation. MORE
