Regarding the article by Dennis McDougal about the upcoming TV movie “Absolute Strangers” (“Battle Lines Forming Over TV Docudrama ‘Strangers,’ ” March 13): The Rev. (Donald) Wildmon and his
American Family Assn. finally show themselves as the censor-happy goons they really are. This movie (which, of course, the good reverend hasn’t seen yet) depicts the true story of how the
“pro-lifers” tried to interfere with a husband’s decision regarding his pregnant, severely injured wife. The “fetus-firsters” are always crying out to “tell the truth” regarding abortion. In
this case, Wildmon appears to be wanting to cover up the truth. Thanks to CBS for bravely addressing this important, emotional issue. CHRIS CRINER Tustin MORE TO READ
