IRVINE — Fluor Daniel said Thursday that it has been awarded a $27-million contract in connection with 19 petroleum and coal-fueled plants in Arkansas, Louisiana and Mississippi. The
engineering and construction company’s Chicago office will be responsible for project management and installation of emissions monitoring systems for 64 stacks at the plants. Completion is
scheduled for late 1994. The contract was awarded by Entergy Services Inc., a subsidiary of New Orleans-based Entergy Corp., which is a public utility holding company. Fluor Daniel is a
