SAN CLEMENTE — Although inconsistent conditions continued Wednesday, the third day of the Body Glove SurfBout at Lower Trestles, there still were some outstanding rides throughout the day.
In the first round of the main event, Newport Beach’s David Giddings had one of the higher scores of the day with a 9.0, which helped him advance to the second round. Jason Bogle of Hawaii
