Pet lovers from throughout Southern California brought their dogs to Valley College on Sunday, hoping to take home the best of show trophy at the 10th annual Burbank Kennel Club All-Breed
Dog Show. With about 2,000 entries in the show, college halls became beauty salons as owners prepared their dogs for judging. “We are looking for perfection,” said show chairman Douglas
Toomey. “Each dog has to be the best in their breed.” Judges searched for the dogs that best matched what their breed were born to do, Toomey said. Rottweilers are bred to be protectors.
Chihuahuas are companions and should look sweet and feisty at the same time, said show judge Rosie Anderson. “They are tiny, but they think they are tigers,” Anderson said. perfect looks,
