Paul Gorton, known for his stint on the second series of 'The Traitors', has dropped hints about what to anticipate from the celebrity edition of the hit programme. He also
imparted some words of wisdom for the celebs participating in the much-anticipated spin-off, which unveiled its cast on Tuesday night. Paul, 37, gained notoriety as a 'Traitor' on
the show last year, earning a reputation as a reality TV "villain" among BBC viewers before being ousted by his fellow participants. With a new batch of stars ready to take on the
challenge in 'Celebrity Traitors' later this year, The Mirror caught up with him at the BAFTA Television Awards with P&O Cruises on Sunday. On the red carpet, he offered his
strategy to the upcoming contestants: "You've gotta be cut-throat, you've gotta be brutal and you've got to stab people in the back." At the London awards event,
Paul told the Mirror: "They're like the best three things you can do, right? And then you'll either win or you'll have a lot of fun." When questioned about whether
the dynamics would shift with celebrities playing the game, Paul suggested that viewers might see a different facet of the famous faces compared to their regular television personas. He also
voiced his hopes for the show to be "absolute chaos." In a candid chat, he expressed excitement about the upcoming show, saying: "I think you're gonna see the people
that you're used to seeing on tele all the time doing like really naughty, bad things. Because we always see them in like a nice guise, whereas you can't be nice in the Traitors -
whether you're a Faithful or whether you're a Traitor." Paul added: "Whatever happens, I hope it's absolute chaos!" Paul, was unaware of the star-studded cast
at the time of the interview. The reveal came on Tuesday evening. The line-up includes the likes of comedian Alan Carr, singer-songwriter Cat Burns, actor Celia Imrie, and songstress
Charlotte Church. TV host Clare Balding, documentary maker David Olusoga, and ex-rugby player Joe Marler are also joining the fray. Revealed as well are comedian Joe Wilkinson, television
personalities Jonathan Ross and Kate Garraway, and comic Lucy Beaumont. Actors Mark Bonnar and Nick Mohammed are also part of the roster. Content creator Niko Omilana, musician Paloma Faith,
and actor Ruth Codd will also be participating. Completing the list are broadcaster Stephen Fry, EastEnders' Tameka Empson, and Olympic diver Tom Daley. The nine-episode series of
Celebrity Traitors is set to air on BBC One and stream on BBC iPlayer this autumn. The celebrities will vie for a chance to win up to £100,000 for their chosen charity. Presenter Claudia
Winkleman stated: "We're incredibly lucky these brilliant people have said yes. I'd love to say we'll take it easy on them and they'll just wander round the castle
and eat toast for a couple of weeks but that would be a lie."
